Preparation
How to prepare your Wayusa with Jungle Cinnamon
In a tea bag or tea strainer
Put approx. 2–3 teaspoons of the mixture in a tea bag or tea strainer. Pour over 200 ml of boiling water, let steep for about 10 minutes, and then remove.
Traditionally in a pot
Put approx. 2–3 tablespoons of the mixture in one liter of water. Bring to a boil, let simmer gently for about 10 minutes, and strain through a sieve. You can boil the leaves a second time. YOMERA

Augustin Allpa Grefa is a tribal leader of the Kichwa in Ecuador, born and raised in the Ecuadorian Amazon. The rainforest is his home and his teacher.
He knows every tree, every path, every animal, and every plant. Together with his family and the community of his tribe, he wild-harvests our Wayusa by hand deep in the jungle, just as his ancestors have done for generations.

How to prepare Wayusa..
In the tea bag
- Put approx. 2-3 teaspoons of Wayusa into a tea bag
- add 200ml of boiling water
- Let the tea steep for approx. 10 minutes and remove the bag

Who is Wayusa not suitable for?
Due to its naturally high caffeine content, Wayusa is not suitable for children, pregnant women, or breastfeeding women. If you are sensitive to caffeine, we recommend starting with a smaller amount.
Until when should I drink Wayusa tea?
Agustín from the Kichwa community recommends drinking Wayusa no later than 6 PM. After that, the body should be allowed to rest. Since Wayusa contains natural caffeine, it also depends on your personal sensitivity.
What does "wild harvesting" mean?
Wild harvesting means that the leaves do not come from plantations or monocultures. Our Wayusa grows in natural mixed forests in the Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest and is harvested there by hand. This preserves the ecological balance of the forest — without industrial agriculture, artificial cultivation structures, or pesticides.
How many times can you boil Wayusa?
The dried Wayusa leaves are very rich and can therefore be boiled twice.
